Wedding, part four - the decorations
everything you see here I made myself! With the exception of the cake, which was made with love by one of my maids of Honour (I had two). Didn't she do wonderfully? I was especially pleased with the place cards and table numbers, since I made those a panicked three days before the wedding!
We had our bouquets and bouts made by a florist, but to save money we just purchased cut flowers (for convenience's sake, we bought these from the florist too) and arranged them into jars and other containers I'd collected on friday night - there were eight or so girls hanging out and helping friday, so it really took only half an hour or so.

Wedding, part three - First Look
Kyle and I chose to see each other before the ceremony to do all of our photos. I loved having the thrill of seeing him for the first time be a relatively private moment, and it really helped to make sure neither of us got nervous.
Although the trend has been done to death, the cowboy boots belong to my beautiful sister, who couldn't make the wedding because she is broke in the land of Aus at the moment. They were my something borrowed, and I thought of her every time I looked down.
I made the ruffle myself, using this tutorial.
